I really want to, I think we need a few more members. I'd like to be able to at least be able to put up 12 people for a 12v12 before anything gets off the ground. Also, we would need to be able to play together a little more, right now it's whoever is online we just hop on and go, but for a comp we would need strategies and all that fun stuff. Long and short of it is we need a few more people and we need to get some more concrete strategies together for specific maps.

We'd have to seriously put ridiculous hours into this game and know eachother's playing habits like a basketball team to handle ESL-One level playing where you actually get payed.
Would i like to do that? fuck yeah Do we all have the lifestyles that give us the amount of time to practice enough to get to that level? Not at all. |

You actually don't need the number of members to equal the maximum number of players allowed on a map to have a match. I'd actually be surprised if there are 12v12 ladders even available because of the difficulty in getting everyone to be on at the same time. There are certain advantages to having a larger roster though which I believe that is what you were alluding to.
That said, I am sure there are 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5, and 6v6 ladders available in TWL (www.teamwarfare.com). They used to be free, but a brief search on TWL brings up something about a payment mode which never existed previously. Plus the site has been recently overhauled and is experiencing problems so there is a not whole lot of info available from them. Another option I see popping up a lot is Fragged Nation. I know next to nothing about them, but it might be worth a look. CAL is no longer is existence and all other ladders I see are foreign which we may be able to do, but we would have very high pings and may be prohibited from competing as a result. Our best hope is that TWL gets their shit together and fixes their site and removes the payment program. The amount of time you have to put in to be MLG is unrealistic for me. Even if I did have the time and dedicated myself to that, which I did for TWl on the original AA, I was still not even close to even the best teams in intermediate leagues. And that was me playing with a team who played 25+ hours a week dedicated to just competing. I'm not trying to burst anyone's bubble. I just want everyone to know what they are getting into and the hurdles that currently exist. |

I wasn't even thinking that big, yet. We could probably hop on the as forums and hop on servers and throw together scrimmages with other clans at first until the game gets more popular/full release.
