Hello all, and welcome to the: First Armored Cavalry Division Maybe you're wondering a little about us. Well, we are the First Armored Cavalry Division, under leadership of First Lieutenant Lord Scott McCulloch. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and comradeship, and functioning as a Day of Defeat Realism Unit. We are currently recruiting all able-bodied soldiers, and we like to have fun with the people we bring into our fold. What is a Day of Defeat Unit? Realism is a style of play on Day of Defeat that utilizes the teamwork element for re-enacting epic battles from WWII. We have a strict rank system, and follow basic guidelines as common sense dictates. During a Scrim, you function as a team, usually a squad, and you follow the orders of your superiors and/or designated leader. Should you die, you enter the spectator group to simulate death, as it would be in real life. There are strict weapon restrictions during the match, unless agreed upon at the beginning, and you can never pick up an enemy weapon, unless pubbing. Being in a unit is about honour, integrity, and pride. We demand a certain level of activeness from our gunners. Activeness is not just on the server or just on the forums, but a bit of both. If you cannot remain active during a certain period of time, don't worry, let us know so we don't rat at you. In regard to activeness, we expect our soldiers to attend mandatory weekly meetings and drills. If you plan to join, you will be expected to attend Basic Combat Training, where you will learn of everything we expect of you, and what you will be required to do. This training lasts no more than a few hours (can be multiple days) and results in full enlistment to the unit. Failure to attend your Basic Training can result in an automatic removal. Some things we do, involve pubbing, meetings, in-unit scrimmages, inter-unit scrimmages, in-game filming, and other fun activities. We are human and we do like having fun. | First Armored Cavalry Division Official Unit Activation It comes with great honor and pride that I announce on this glorious day, May Thirteenth, the year of our Lord Two Thousand and Thirteen the official activation of Company H, First Armored Cavalry Division by order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Army of the United States of America. Second Lieutenant Scott McCulloch has been appointed Acting Commanding Officer of the First Armored Cavalry Division and Technical Sergeant Raymond McConnville has been appointed as Acting Executive Officer.
