In order for you to be accepted as a member of the 2098 the following things must be accomplished:

#1. You must fill out an application. There is a thread in this forum with the appropriate format. Please copy that information, answer the questions and paste it all in a new thread. Please title the new thread as.................................... "your name" application. For example, if I were submitting an application the title of said application would be ...."Vengeance' Application". Please put as much information in this thread as possible. The more we know about you the better.

#2. Once we receive your application your status on HL Stats will be checked. YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF TWO (2) DAYS PLAYTIME ON OUR SERVER AND BE IN THE TOP 100 ON THE STATS PAGE TO MOVE ONTO THE NEXT STEP. If you're struggling to reach the top 100, post your application anyway, and an admin may lower the rank requirement depending on the amount of points needed to reach the top 100, or other factors.

#3. Once you have met the requirements you will be instructed to put on our probationary tags. They will look like this.....[2098-P]. You will wear these tags for two weeks from the day you put them on. During this time the administration and the members will be getting to know who you are, what your about and if you will be a good fit with us. Once the two weeks has expired, a vote will be started by the administration regarding your possible entrance into the clan. A RECRUIT MUST RECEIVE A MINIMUM OF 80% OF ADMINS "YES" VOTES TO GAIN ADMITTANCE INTO THE CLAN. Members are now voting as well, but a majority member vote does NOT determine the admission of a recruit: this is a tool for admins to use if they wish.

#4. Once you have received a minimum 80% of votes by the administration, an administrator will post in your ORIGINAL recruitment thread and advice you that you have been selected as a member of the 2098. You will be asked to remove the "-p" from your tags and you will be a full fledged member. IF FOR YOUR VOTE IS NOT SUCCESSFUL YOU CAN RE-APPLY AFTER TWO WEEKS UNLESS OTHERWISE INSTRUCTED.

Once this has been accomplished it may take up to a few days to get your forum permissions set up. Please be patient.

Underage (under 16) may now apply to the clan. The requirements are slightly more strict as you will require a majority admin vote and a large majority vote from current members. If you are successfully voted into the clan, you will be on a 90-day probation period in which if you break the rules one (1) time, you will be removed from the clan. Your maturity level will be taken into high consideration during the voting process. We want our members to enjoy themselves, we do not however, want the actions of one member to taint the game play of other members or PUBS.
