About Us
| How the 48th Operates, heh thats a tough one. The 48th Mechanized Infantry Operates with a variety of vehicles and weapons, Most notably the new Panther APC. During a Training Exercise or Operation the 48th gets to the AO via heavily armored APC's or MRAP's, or a helicopter airlifting said vehicle to the AO. Once the attack force or in some cases defence force arrives at the AO the infantry will dismount and engage the enemy while the APC or MRAP provides fire support. |
