Since Super Bowl is around the corner i thought we have a 4:20 Tecmo Bowl Tournament! I have all the files needed to play online and its all about 2mb in size.

*real important* for network play
if you know how to mess with your router and open ports.To start a networked game hit NETPLAY then Hit Player 1 if you are hosting. then give your ip to the challenger.To get your IP use this site http://www.ip-adress.com/
if you don't want to hassle or just plain don't know how to open ports in your router download hamachi here :

once installed create a screen name then go to "join an existing network"
Network ID: 420bowl
to get the password ask me or someone already joined as to avoid outside folk joining. the network limit is 16 players but i can add a new network to add more players.
To start a networked game hit NETPLAY then Hit Player 1 if you are hosting. then give the hamachi ip to the challenger. "IF YOU USE HAMACHI BOTH PLAYERS HAVE TO BE USING HAMACHI"



Default Controls

Player 1:

UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT - keyboard arrow keys
A - 'X' key
B - 'Z' key
SELECT - Right Shift
START - Enter


F9 - Start/Stop movie recording (using the current slot) "USE THIS TO RECORD SMACK TALKING VIDEOS!!"
F10 - Start/Stop movie playing (using the current slot)
F11 - Toggle between full screen and windowed mode
F12 - Take screenshot

if you record a movie send the file located in the movies folder to me and ill post the videos on the website.


You Can always remap your Keys under OPTIONS, CONTROLLER

Best Settings

so i played a game with my brother who lives across town and it played real nice. but you have to use HAMACHI it makes things so much easier as the NES emulator requires to many ports to open. also obviously you want the person with the faster connection to host the match. it hiccuped once in a while like for a quick sec but it didn't effect game play much maybe some lag on my end. if any one needs help on setting up HAMACHI or NES emulator feel free to hit me up in steam.

as for the most part when you unzip the NES emualtor leave the settings the way they are minus setting up controls and video resolutions. and same goes for HAMACHI leave as is when installed.

ok for me i can't adjust the in game volume cause its a bit loud but i just lower my wav volume and its good but you can also completely remove the sound by going to audio options and and check NO AUDIO EMULATION.
