PLEASE USE THIS TOPIC TO REPORT ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR, SUSPECTED CHEATERS, EXCESSIVE RULE BREAKERS OR ANY PROBLEMS ON THE SERVER.
..OR TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS OR SUGGESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE.

Note: this is only for my server, called- 'gametracker.com/clan/BFV1.0'
Other members also run servers sometimes (Piet and OldVet) so rules and server-setup will probably be different on each server.

My server is usualy set to Custom game-type, with NVA Vs Vietcong and Huey Gunships for both teams (on Air maps), Both teams have access to SA-7 Anti-Air launchers. The idea is to have the game as balanced as possible for both sides.

RULES:

1/ My server is for BFV1.0 forum members. Think of it like a private House-party, all forum members are VIP guests and all admin are Security/Doormen, non-members are welcome to join the party but if they can't play within the rules, or if they upset the other guests, they will not be welcome in Bobs House anymore. So Play nice and Party hard.
More than half the members here have Admin Rights and act sometimes without warning. Rules are clearly displayed here and on the Server (in White server messages) So there are few reasons why a player can't learn the rules without admin having to explain more than once.
It is understood that many players speak little English and may not fully understand the rules and become kicked/banned as a result... There is little I can do about this - as english is my only language, however, most members (if-asked) will try to translate rules while in-game.

1b/ Offensive behavior (of any kind) will not be tolerated, this can include offensive nametags. Admin are free to decide when someone is 'going too far'.


2/ When on any Air map: (unless dropping bombs from a jet) Do not enter or attack the enemy mainbase/Airfields -for any reason...even if it's the last flag left!.
Air maps are only fun if both teams can get airborne.
This rule is strongly enforced by myself and the Admin.
[Admin can decide to suspend this rule in the last 20 mins of an air map] - and ONLY if last flag!.

3/ On Operation Flaming Dart: Do not destroy the Airfield Towers! (for the same reasons as rule 2) ...if a tower is destroyed and an Admin is there, the match will be restarted and the person responsible will be warned/kicked/banned.

4/ Anyone caught hacking/cheating (even members) will be Perma-Banned and reported to other servers and clans (and possibly publicly humiliated with video on Youtube). Reports of players cheating made on the game server will not be taken seriously, post it in here on the forum please. (with evidence and/or good reason)

5/ Clan recruitment is welcomed on my server but only if the Clan leader or recruiter joins this forum first.

6/ Ramming other Aircraft is not against the Rules, (as air accidents do happen often) But if you ram too many times (as a deliberate tactic), an admin will probably get angry and you'll be kicked.

That's all I can think of right now, more may be added later if needed.

What names do you use on our BFV server?

On air maps, no stealing of helicopter/planes is allowed.

Several times, players have entered opposite main base and stolen the helicopters and planes, which make the match pointless. (Only one team can fly)

This is already covered by rule 2. Until we have admins I suggest trying the Mapvote and use it to vote for the same map you are on (will act like a map restart) and use Kickvote to get rid of the stealing players.

yeah, we know that giourgious, every airmap someone is raping, but we can do nothing at the moment ,cuz admin programms do not work

Allright, I would like to request a perma ban for mr.killer.
He has been swearing and flaming at Spirit for a good hour.
I will not go into the words he used, but I think a player like that shouldn't be allowed on your server.
