your signon name is likely to be different than your handle (you probably shouldn't write your sign-on name on public bbs)

For example:

Fivedays@BootyMcBoots

Character name Account Name (handle)

The full name is usually shown in chat and in mail

Silverghost can friend you if offline with just you handle (or you can do the same with his @silverghost5 )
