Steam is very useful (even if you have the game through Game Center) for matchmaking with friends. The app also allows you to voice chat. With games that you have purchased through Steam, you can match with your friends and play on the same team. A huge benefit of steam is that it also has an iPhone App, so you can chat with friends even while away from your computer. My steamID is: C0enzymeA (http://steamcommunity.com/id/coenzymeA. Just downloaded steam. My aim is to be able to play with my brother who is on a PC and in a different continent!
Did you manage to link your COD-BOps game purchased from Mac Apple store to steam? I cant find any way to get the CD/Product key. |

sid29j wrote: If you click "add a game" at the bottom left, then click "add a non-steam game", then select black ops - it'll show up that you're playing the non steam version of BO1 when you launch the game from steam. (The game will appear with all your other games on the left hand side of the screen when you're on library). As already said the game isn't cross platform, there's a mac black ops as well as a windows one. The two can't play together - the reason why the "mac" community is so small. |

Thanks guys!
I bought CS:Source to try it out, looks alright, but I keep right-clicking to aim :/ Any suggestions for other cross-platform games you might have played? |
