You can also use letters instead of numbers on the taunt menu. I find it a lot easier to use that way, since you don't have to move your fingers away from 'wasd.'
Open your UT2004.ini and search for bSpeechMenuUseLetters= Change it to True. Also you can use the mousewheel and hit 'enter.'
