I've had a chance to play a few matches with the new DC-based monster setup. I like how it plays faster, it seems to be quite an improvement in that aspect. Some of the early waves seem a bit repetitive, especially how lots of the basic monsters like kralls and skaarj appear over and over. Wave six with tech titans replacing the fire titans seems really good. And as a I remember from DC, the final few waves are just damn near impossible. I think I got to wave 10 or 11.

So now that people are familiar with the monsters available from the D-E-K setup, I'll be taking suggestions on what to add back in.

I'm also uploading a few maps at the moment. Please let me know if there are any redirect problems like slow downloads or mismatches for the newly added maps.

Let me have some time to play before I give any feedback. I will e-mail you then.

HA! Finally figured out my old account and PW for this site! I would like to thank Demon for his efforts and desire to keeping DC alive after all these years, and to Jefe for taking on the merger. I'm looking forward to discovering all the different things that are here.

First off, Jefe, the DEK avril....It's there, and when I buy Loaded weapons, it dissapears, and I dont have any avril. What's the purchase order of abilities so this doesn't happen?

Not sure what happened but I seemed to have lost a level on my ZOGineer character. I leveled recently to 408 but when I went in to play that character again it was back at 407. I don't really care about one level. Just trying to see if others had same issue. I have since "re-leveled" to 408.

@Flak_Monkey: You need to buy Loaded weapons first. Next, buy your starting weapons. You will need to reconnect or respawn to get your correct loadout. I just added this bit about respawning to the faq.

@ZOG: The day after I merged data, I had to restore from a backup, so anyone who played that first day lost a level or two.

Kind of funny: DC started dying out at the end there (from what I saw). Then it gets removed and merged. WHAM! Bunch of people. I think this whole process was necessary to save DC from dying out on its own.

A bit off topic here:
So here I am, sitting in class, and I wondered how Jefe and the server was doing... I must say, THIS is quite a surprise! Can't wait to return home to see how this runs and nice to meet everyone, I'm a DEK native though I've been on DC a few times
