Here's a bit of information before the class goes live.

Necromancers can resurrect dead teammates. Like it is now on the server, there is no true resurrection, but rather a timed and temporary resurrection. Resurrected teammates are invulnerable, and after the timer is up, they are sent back to death. If the Necromancer dies, all his/her resurrected teammates die as well.

This class is pretty much the flip side to medics. Necromancers benefit from the death of teammates, and the primary way they sustain health is by stealing from enemies.

Here's a list of the core abilities:

Loaded Necromancer - grants the resurrect artifact
Experienced Resurrection - increases the XP received from reviving teammates
Blood Magic - drains the health of the target that your crosshair is set on, and adds to yours. You can establish a chain to the target which allows you to continuously drain the target without the need for crosshair aiming, so long as you maintain proximity with the target. This ability also grants the Blood Magic weapon.
Death Regen - regenerates HP per teammate that is either dead or currently resurrected
Death Leech - increases DB and DR per teammate that is either dead or currently resurrected, up to a maximum
Lingering Spirit - releases a malevolent spirit at your body's location when you die, draining the HP of surrounding targets until you respawn. You earn XP for this while dead
Plague - periodically spawns a small, weak bug that will die after infecting a target with the plague. The plague is essentially a weak poison that will last indefinitely unless the Necromancer dies. Plagues can spread to other targets if those targets are close enough to the infected ones
Possess - allows the Necromancer to possess an enemy monster as a pet. The cost of monster points and adrenaline is tied to the monster's scoring value. Each level of this ability allows stronger monsters to be possessed
Phantom - the Ghost ability for Necromancers. Unlike Ghost, Phantom allows this class to control their ghost state when taking damage that would otherwise kill them. During the phantom state, the player regenerates HP and DB is increased. Additionally, on the second fatal hit, instead of dying, players will permanently become phantoms but are still considered OUT as far as the game is concerned.

And of course the class has a few other abilities including adrenaline drip and pet abilities(MP, health, intelligence, DB). The work is mostly done, but I'll need to go through several playthroughs with low, mid and high level characters for fine-tuning the balance. No subclasses or niches yet.

The new necromancer will not have Doom? i thought that was a pretty nice signature killing move for the necromancers. and will you add resupply?

keep up the good work! even though i will lose a lvl 350 necromancer Q_Q

Edit: please don't forget the add the summons too! I really liked them

I was a bit back and forth with Doom because it works pretty much the same as Decay - aim at target, and maintain proximity. I didn't want to double down on that gameplay. So now we have Blood Spear which is a piercing projectile, and it works by collecting enough blood through the Decay ability.

No resupply most likely. Decay and Blood Spear are pretty infinite. Possess also kills monsters (and turns them into your pet), and you'll have adrenaline drip for that. I will say though that this class will feel physically weaker to others, but it compensates in its survivability and maneuvering around death(I have another unique idea for this class that I haven't shared yet!).

With physically weaker do you mean that you wont add Adv. dr and Adv. healthbonus?

It was supposed to be released shortly after the original post, but I keep adding on new ideas and making changes.. quality takes time

Necromancer class is live on the server now. There are a few bugs that still need to be ironed out. Let me know of game play issues, balancing, ideas or suggestions, etc.
