Yeah, even if you don't have games on Steam, it's a good chat client and replacement for Xfire. Most of the DC regulars who used Xfire are already in the new Steam group.
 I can post announcements there or even hold group chat. There are even some smart phone apps for Steam chat, you'll have to ask Hollon about that.
