Just posting here to confirm that Unreal Tournament 2004 (Steam version) Works on Linux via Steam's Proton update. Also works for wine's compatibility layer. (Non-Steam)
Tested on: --Hardware-- CPU: i7 8700k GPU: GTX 1050 Ti RAM: 16GB DDR4 SSD: 120GB HDD: 1TB --Software-- OS: GNU/Linux Debian 10 Buster/Sid Desktop Environment: KDE Plasma Driver: Latest nvidia drivers for linux(396) Proton version: 3.7-3 ----------------------------------------------------------- Issues: -Very slight stutter at random times, though not noticeable, maybe because i like playing games on windowed mode |

Update: Works fine in Arch Linux with Cinnamon installed, same hardware.
