Loading Screens 3 - beta (I suppose, since i didn't put a whole lot of work into them.)

Mostly a bunch of screenshots I took before my nice computer died a terrible horrible death back in February, and I thought they looked pretty nice without embellishment. You might recognize a few of the shots from various projects that I've worked on. There are also some loading screens based on the UT2004 fansite kit, using graphics from the original UT2004 box. Gotta love the scene with laser blasts coming out of grenade launchers. Also I've added the single player mode victory and story screens to the list. The textures for those are already on your computer, so just enjoy!

By the way, if there are any screens you don't like, just put a semicolon in front of its entry (called commenting out a line.) The 'best' ones have 2 entries, feel free to comment out those duplicates from your list as well. I've tried to make the entries as descriptive as possible, so it should be easy to figure out which is which. Or you could just load the textures in unreal ed to visually confirm what's what. Most of the loading screens of maps have the name and mapper listed at the bottom of the texture, viewable in unreal ed. Same thing with the custom skins, most are ones I made, just google "Jefe UT2004" to download those characters. Yoda, Agent Smith, and of course the default skins depicted are exceptions. - Jefe

Some of the links are broken- can you fix them? (If you still have those files..). Also, I think it'd be neat to have loading screens from the server or of some of the newer maps

That's a good idea. I actually was considering making a new pack, but something a bit different.

I added a simple blue gradient from the UT menu package to my loading screen lineup a while back, and I really like it. So I was thinking of making a whole pack in the same style.

Nearly 10 years ago I made my first mod for UT2004, and it was a loading screen pack.

Now I'm making another one.

UT2004 is still a very nice looking game 10 years later. So to celebrate that I'm making a loading screen set showing off some of the pretty maps included with the game, or from bonus packs. Here are some preview pics:

I haven't been on the server much because I've been working on something big. I just released "Jefe's Loading Screens Volume 4" which includes FORTY screens - and all the older ones from the above preview were redone for widescreen resolutions.

As far as I know, no one else has made widescreen loading screens either. But for the people without widescreen monitors, I included both widescreen 16:9 and standard 4:3 versions of each texture.
