Greetings everyone!
Jefe has implemented a fun way to celebrate the holidays on the server: building bases out of Christmas presents!



Engineers will summon strong, sturdy presents to protect against the baddies! Now live on the server- check it out!

P.S.: Do not open presents before Christmas

I'm diggin' the colored blocks. You should keep them colored even after the holidays. Maybe not presents, but solid or patterned designs.

Yeah, the original block texture is a bit on the ugly side. I've got a couple of ideas. I could use a variation of my old Hologram skin set to give them a "virtual" look or design a new texture in photoshop, metallic or wooden, and do a couple of variations of it.

Option one will be quick for me to do, but might be confusing because I've used elements of those textures in several weapon skins (arctic, super heat, vamp leech) so I think it will be better for me to work on a new texture set.

We can even make it RPG related Builders can get a steel/metallic block, normal engineers something a little weaker than that, and mechanized infantry 'wooden' blocks or some other variation makes differentiating blocks easier too!

I thought those textures were good already. I was talking about the textures Demon was suggesting.

EDIT: I think it would be cool if the blocks displayed battle damage when their health is at key points.
