Something's up with the server. The game acts as if there is lag.
The lag I experienced was inconsistent and unplayable. My ping was roughly 70 ms. I entered the game as [DC]Dragonlance, and this was the first time I had the tag on it so the screen went to the new-player-screen like normal. However, when I entered the game upon clicking "I agree," I felt the lag for a few seconds. Then the game forced me to reconnect and it then wouldn't allow me to use the name I had chosen ([DC]Dragonlance was still in the game).I waited for the map to end and reconnected. After this, I successfully entered the game under [DC]Dragonlance, but I noticed the lag was constant. There was about a 0-2 second delay between actions. I leveled in the match (I was due for a level). But after the match ended, I had to re-level next map. I don't think the server is saving player data. Weird. ![]() |

Almost the exact same thing happened to me the other day when I joined a map with 4 other players. Very laggy, and then when I reconnected, it counted me as "player" instead of my name. The other players reported similar lag.
I tried getting on the FTP to look at the log file but even that wouldn't connect, and Hollon said he tried getting on webadmin when this was going on with you and couldn't connect. When the problem subsided and I was able to check the log, I didn't notice anything unusual. I don't know if this is a problem with Gameserver's connection, insufficent bandwidth, sort of "overflow" where the rpg/mods are going crazy or what, but it's happened a few times. I want to collect some more info about these "lagfests" before reporting it to Gameservers. It might be something on our end, but on the other hand, it might be something on theirs. Just as a note, it would be helpful if you include the map, time of day, other players present, and wave when reporting issues like this.

Map: DM-AMDK-Affairs1-1 (First came on), DM-Eliminator2004 (rejoined here)
Time of Day: Roughly 4:15 PM (CST) Players: WebAdmin, Dragonskull (both on when I successfully rejoined) This is definitely it, because it was called every tick: Warning: ProAss DM-Eliminator2004.ProAss (Function XWeapons.ShieldGun.ChargeBar:0025) Accessed None 'FireMode' ![]() |

A certain amount of "log spam" is normal for invasion, including that message. It probably isn't the problem, but I could try disabling the utility rifle for a few days ("proass" = pro assault rifle) to see if it changes anything.

League of Legends was having server problems today. Maybe it's a widespread issue.
