We're considering adding some kind of vending solution to our coworking space. The idea is to give people access to snacks and maybe even fresh meals without hiring staff or managing a kitchen. But I’m not sure if smart vending machines are reliable or just overhyped. Has anyone actually used them?

Interesting topic. I’ve seen more and more places adding smart vending machines, but I haven’t had the chance to manage one personally. Curious what others will share here.

Our company introduced a smart vending solution in our break area about eight months ago, and it’s made a noticeable difference in convenience and employee satisfaction. We weren’t sure how well it would handle fresh products or how often restocking would be needed. After some research, we chose a vending machine smart system that tracks inventory in real time and automatically alerts the supplier when stock runs low. That alone saved us so much hassle. The touchscreen interface is intuitive, and you can offer both snacks and meals while tracking what sells best. Employees appreciate the variety and that they can grab something quickly without leaving the office. From an admin side, it’s less work than expected because most of it is automated. It won’t replace a full kitchen, but it’s definitely more than just a snack box.
