Hey, we’ve got that new building maintenance contract coming up. I think it’s time we invest in a boom lift. How to choose the best boom lift?

I was reading up, and it really depends on where we’re using it. This job’s got some tight corners and obstacles, so I’m leaning toward an articulating boom — you know, the kind that bends around stuff.

Better to have more reach than fall short. Let’s aim for a 65–70 foot lift. We also need to think about indoor vs. outdoor use. Some areas are inside the building, so we might want electric or hybrid power — less noise, no emissions.

I’ve used boom lifts for years and continue to be impressed by their performance. The telescopic versions are perfect for straightforward vertical reach, while the articulating ones offer amazing flexibility around obstacles. We use them for signage installs and repairs on commercial buildings. They’ve improved job safety and reduced the number of workers needed for high-access jobs. Most info about boom lifts you can find here https://livepositively.com/maximizing-efficiency-how-towable-boom-lifts-save-time-and-money/. They are very reliable and easy to operate. A must-have for serious contractors.
