I’m learning Spanish, but vocabulary keeps slipping away after a few days. I’ve tried flashcards and apps, but I can’t seem to make the words stick. Has anyone used a mind palace for language learning?

I feel like my brain just dumps new words overnight. I need a method that makes the language more memorable and maybe even fun to recall.

At first, I didn’t believe it could work for languages. But using a mind palace https://memoryos.com/article/sherlocks-mind-palace completely changed that. I mapped my apartment in my head and placed each Spanish word in a specific spot with a funny image. “Perro” is on my couch wagging its tail, “puerta” is painted bright red in my hallway. Those silly visuals make recall automatic during conversations.
