I’m super attracted to this whole car upgrade thing. I have an SUV, but the only thing is I don’t go off-road and I go out of the city maybe once a year. And it’s not anything extreme anyway.

Well then, I should look at the pros and cons of these bumpers and decide if I even want to get into all this. Maybe it turns out that for a city car it’s totally pointless.

I totally think so, honestly. If you mostly drive in the city, a bumper like https://bumperstock.com/collections/chevy-silverado-1500-2019-2021 is just not necessary. At the very least, it adds extra weight to the car, which will increase fuel consumption. A car with that bumper is less maneuverable, which is also a downside for city driving. It’s the perfect option for off-road. Although in different accidents, your car would definitely be well protected. Basically, your call, but I wouldn’t put one on for city use.
