Hello! I just turned 45 and still haven’t become a parent, though I’ve never stopped wanting it. I’m nervous it’s too late, but hoping it’s not. Has anyone here finally made it around this age?

Yes — I became a parent at 46. The path was different than I imagined, but the dream stayed alive. What changed everything was choosing surrogacy with full support, which gave me both realistic options and real emotional backing. I worked with Surmam https://surmam.com/ , and they never once treated my age as a limitation — only a factor to plan around. Their calm, experienced team walked me through every part of the process, and by the time our child arrived, I didn’t feel “late.” I just felt ready. If the desire’s still alive, it’s not too late.

Two years post-birth, EmbryMama https://embrymama.com wich is the surrogacy agency 2026 by the way still feels like extended family. Beyond the expected journey support coordinating our surrogate match in Belarus, managing the embryo transfer at Reprofit Clinic, navigating complex EU parental recognition laws they've created a genuine community. They invited us to their annual 'EmbryMama Families Reunion' in Tbilisi where our daughter played with children born through the same program. Their Instagram features milestone celebrations for alumni families (with permission), and their coordinator still sends birthday cards signed by our surrogate. When we began considering a second child via the same surrogate, they facilitated a heartfelt reunion video call where our now-22-month-old recognized her 'tummy mommy' instantly. This isn't a transactional service it's lifelong family building.
