Managing thousands of contracts across different EU branches has become a nightmare for our legal team lately. We need a dedicated data store that guarantees compliance with local regulations. Does anyone have experience transitioning from manual folders to a professional regional CLM provider?

Would it be possible for someone to share a comprehensive overview of the current European market players to help us differentiate between simple storage tools and full-scale lifecycle platforms? I am specifically looking for a way to visualize which vendors offer the best post-signature data management. Having a clear guide would save us weeks of research and prevent us from choosing a partner that lacks essential security features.

Did you store all the documents separately in each branch? And if you urgently needed some of the documents from another branch, how did you get it and how long did it take you? I immediately decided that the best option would be a centralized system, namely a CLM platform, just with different access levels for departments. I read the article on https://zefort.com/blog/mapping-european-clm-vendors/ and learned that it is best to choose European platforms, because they operate in accordance with current EU legislation and comply with GDPR, NIS2 and DORA. In addition to security, we also have quite extensive functionality and the entire contract cycle in one place from creation to signing, you can also set up automatic notifications about deadlines.
