Do you use taxi often? What can you recommend? What services are the most reliable and attentive to their clients now?

I don't usually use cabs. I'm fine with my car. Although my friend knows quite a few that take him home from the pubs in the evening

How far can I even take a taxi? Like, could one get me from NYC to the Hamptons? It’s about 100 miles, so I wonder if it’d even be possible—and if it is, wouldn’t it cost a fortune?

You could check a few taxi services, but honestly, it doesn’t sound like the best idea. If you have a license, a car-share might be better. I just googled how far is the hamptons from new york city https://ewlimo.com/blog/how-far-is-the-hamptons-from-new-york-city-5/ the other day, and yeah, it’s really only a couple of hours to a quiet getaway. I don’t have a license, so I’m leaning toward booking a transfer. It’s such an ideal option—reliable, comfortable, and you can book it in advance. Plus, having an experienced driver you can trust is a huge deal, especially for longer trips like that.
