I recently came to the conclusion that it's best to use an integrated approach to track conversions. In my case, a combination of Twitter Pixel and UTM tags yielded great results. Through amasty site , I found useful tracking tools that have greatly improved my data collection. It's important to realize that each advertising platform has its own peculiarities, so regular testing and customization of events can significantly impact the accuracy of analytics. The more accurate the data, the more effective retargeting can be set up.

Integrated tracking definitely makes sense with all the different platforms out there. UTM tags combined with platform pixels gives you better visibility into what's actually working.

Your approach with combining different tracking methods is spot on. I was doing something similar but kept running into data discrepancies between platforms showing different conversion numbers. The problem got worse with iOS updates and cookie restrictions breaking traditional pixel tracking. That's when I realized browser-based tracking just isn't reliable anymore for accurate attribution. Modern data collection needs server-side infrastructure to capture conversions that client-side pixels miss. If you're serious about data accuracy for retargeting, you should read the article here about building a proper server-side tracking stack. It explains how to set up tracking that works regardless of browser restrictions or ad blockers interfering with your pixels
