I keep planning to write a bit of my dissertation every day, but somehow I just can’t stick to it. Either I get distracted or just lose focus entirely. Has anyone found a way to build a consistent writing habit for long-term projects?

That’s something a lot of students struggle with. Having a set routine can help, but it’s different for everyone.

Creating a writing routine isn’t always easy, especially when dealing with academic pressure and deadlines. I started tracking my writing hours and setting daily mini-goals. I also came across https://dissertationmall.com/ and decided to give their planning resources a try. Their tools helped me organize my writing sessions into themes—one day I’d work only on literature review, another on data analysis. That kind of structure made my process feel less chaotic. They also offer scheduling strategies that align with your study habits, which really worked for me. Once I got into the rhythm of seeing progress weekly, it became easier to stay motivated and avoid procrastination altogether.
