Our sales department is fully remote and operates across 5 time zones. We’re deciding between Aircall and RingCentral for a new VoIP solution. Key features we need: easy number assignment, call recording, and team analytics. Any feedback on how they perform in a fully remote setup?

We had a similar team structure, and both platforms met the basics. The differences came down to support response time and UI preference.

A few months ago, our remote sales team also had to choose between these two. We tested both platforms for two weeks. https://esimplus.me/blog/aircall-vs-ringcentral-which-voip-solution-is-right-for-your-business really helped us clarify key distinctions like remote usability and call quality across time zones. RingCentral was slightly better when managing users across different regions—it had stronger admin controls. Aircall, on the other hand, felt more modern and was quicker to set up. One thing that mattered to us was the mobile app performance; Aircall’s app was more intuitive and stable on both iOS and Android. Ultimately, we chose Aircall because our reps liked the UX and we didn’t need many enterprise-tier features. But for teams that require deep customization and compliance, RingCentral might be the safer route.
