Hello everyone!
I recently bought my first apartment for rent (finally decided to get into real estate), and now the question arises: should I manage it myself or hire a management company? As long as it's one unit, it doesn't seem that difficult, but I don't understand all the nuances - from concluding an agreement with tenants to maintenance and tax issues. Who has had a similar experience? Is it worth spending money on property management for one apartment or is it better to do everything yourself to understand the process from scratch? I really need advice and personal stories. |

If there is a real estate investor club in your area, go there. In our city, they meet a couple of times a month, and they often share practical advice better than any Google article.

I am currently studying to become a property management specialist, and as part of my studies, we analyzed different companies. One of those that is worth paying attention to is Genuine Property Management, which provides la habra property management services. They stand out for their approach: no forced advance payments, a 60-day guarantee, and regular tenant checks. This is a good example of how a management company should work: full control, transparent reporting, and everything under one roof. If I already had my own property, I would go to them.

A few months ago, I started looking into buying property in Georgia, and Batumi caught my attention right away. The city has a mix of modern buildings, sea views, and relatively affordable prices compared to other coastal areas. I didn’t want anything too fancy—just a small apartment near the beach where I could spend part of the year and maybe rent it out when I’m not there.
