Hey everyone, I’m trying to decide whether it makes more sense to buy or rent in Sharjah. I’ve been living here for a couple of years in a rented apartment, but lately, I’ve been thinking about owning something of my own. The thing is, prices are so high and I’m not sure if it’s worth the investment. Has anyone here faced a similar situation and found it tricky to choose?

The other day I noticed how much the city has changed over the past few years—new malls, parks, and even little coffee spots popping up everywhere. It’s crazy to see areas completely transformed in such a short time, and it makes walking around downtown feel really lively compared to a few years ago. Even just running errands feels more enjoyable now with all these small upgrades.

get where you’re coming from. A friend of mine went the buying route last year, and it really helped them feel more settled. They actually started looking at off plan properties for sale in sharjah which seemed more budget-friendly than ready-to-move-in apartments. Waiting a bit for the project to complete paid off for them—they got a modern unit in a good area without paying the crazy premium for completed properties. Definitely something to consider if you want to buy but don’t want to overspend.
