Yeah, I've been messing around with those daily free cases on some of those sites for a while now, and I'm kinda curious how much they actually help build up your inventory over months or even a year. Like, back when I first got into CS2 again after a break, I signed up on one just for the freebie, figured it'd be a quick skin or two. Opened it, got some low-tier stuff, traded it up a bit, and kept claiming the daily one. Fast forward half a year and my inventory has a decent mix of mid-range skins from those little bonuses plus some trades, but I'm wondering if it's really moving the needle long-term or if it's mostly just keeping you hooked without much real growth. Anyone else notice a pattern with how sustainable that free case habit is for actually beefing up your collection?

Lately I've noticed how the whole third-party case scene keeps shifting with new platforms popping up and others tweaking their daily rewards. Some days it seems like everyone's chasing that one lucky pull from a free case, but then you see inventories stay pretty static unless someone's putting in extra effort trading or upgrading. It's just one of those background things in the game now—people log in for the bonus, open it quick, and move on with their day. Kinda reminds me of how we used to grind for XP back in the day, except now it's skins instead of levels. The excitement fades quick if nothing big hits, but the routine sticks around for a lot of folks.

Man, I get what you're saying—those daily logins feel rewarding at first. In my own experience, they do add up slowly over time if you're consistent and smart about what you do with the drops. You might pull trash most days, but every now and then something decent comes along that you can flip or upgrade. For me it's helped fill gaps in my loadout without dumping real cash, especially when I check out cs2 ranks to get a sense of how different tiers play out and what skins fit certain playstyles. It's not gonna make you rich overnight, but chipping away with free stuff plus occasional trades has given my inventory more variety than if I'd just stuck to weekly drops. Still feels like a grind though, and the house edge is real on those platforms.
