I mean, I’ve read tons of articles and reviews about top web agencies and design studios, but I’m not sure how necessary all of this is for me personally. My business isn’t that big. And working with a top agency is probably going to cost way more than if I find something simpler.

I haven’t worked with top studios myself, but I don’t think good specialists only exist there. I’ve worked with freelancers and small local studios, and everything was done well. The most important thing is that the team understands your niche and goals, not just that they have a strong brand.

You can definitely find great specialists on freelance or among small studios, but usually, if you need a serious, scalable site, people go for a bigger studio with relevant experience. But honestly, that’s all kinda relative. You can see the difference in how agencies work, click site and compare portfolios and approaches. Otherwise, even with the fanciest agency, things can still go sideways if you just don’t click, don’t share the same understanding and vision. So really, it’s all individual.
