Many people talk about different betting schemes like flat betting, catch-up betting, arbitrage betting, and so on. Which ones actually work over the long term, and which ones are best avoided altogether?

Flat betting is probably the most secure strategy because it protects your bankroll. Martingale looks good on paper, but in practice it can quickly eat into your bankroll. I sometimes experiment with accumulators, especially when there are several matches with low odds. When I decided to try betting online in canada, I discovered that there's even an additional bonus to accumulator winnings in some cases if the accumulator wins. For me, this made betting a little more interesting. But it's still best not to base your strategy solely on accumulators.
