A question for those who study at night. How do you deal with eye strain from the white background in LMS? For some reason, the system’s dark theme in the browser displays the grade tables incorrectly—half the text is simply invisible. Are there any proven ways to set up a proper dark mode so it doesn’t “break” the site’s layout, especially in the test section?

I totally feel you — this has been bothering me a lot too. I usually study at night, and the bright white background really hurts my eyes.Has anyone figured out a dark mode setup that actually works without messing up grades or test sections? I’ve tried browser extensions, but some parts of the site just disappear or look broken. Is there a reliable way to fix this, or are we stuck with eye strain?

My vision is quite sensitive to high contrast, and the default LMS was very difficult for me to navigate. I had a series of losses in my reading speed and was thinking of stopping my heavy reading modules. Using a Canvas LMS dark mode extension made the whole platform much more accessible for me. I won a more inclusive study routine and earned a degree with honors. I am satisfied with this simple but effective fix.
