I’m trying to get back into Counter Strike 1.6 but I’m running Windows 11 now and not sure which version of CS 1.6 is still compatible.
There are so many downloads online that it’s hard to tell which ones are safe and actually work properly. I’d prefer something lightweight that installs easily and runs without issues.
If anyone has a trusted source or version that works well on Windows 11, please share it. Thanks a lot.

You should seriously check out CS 1.6 if you’re looking for a solid shooter. I’ve been playing Counter Strike 1.6 on Windows 11 for a while now and it still holds up really well.

The version I use is from here: CS 1.6 for Win 11
It’s optimized for Win 11, installs fast, and doesn’t need any extra fixes.

Honestly, it’s one of those games you can always come back to. Simple, competitive, and still a lot of fun online.
