Hi all, I'm planning to build a large outdoor aviary for my birds. I'm looking for high-quality galvanised welded mesh sheets that are safe and durable. I need a supplier in Sydney that offers consistent wire diameter and clean welds so there are no sharp edges for the birds. Any suggestions on where to shop?

I’ve built a few enclosures over the years and I always go for the hot-dipped galvanised options. It withstands the weather much better. RWAP is my go-to supplier in Sydney. Their welded wire fencing products are top-notch and they maintain very high standards for their welds. I’d recommend the 50x50mm aperture with the 3.5mm wire—it’s very strong and looks professional. You can see their full range and pricing here https://rwap.com.au/welded-mesh/ It’s much more reliable than the flimsy rolls you find at general hardware shops.

Good call on the hot-dipped gal. I'll check out their warehouse, thanks!
