Welcome to the International Task Force recruitment guide. This guide will give you all the information you need to join International Task Force. Read through the entire guide and follow the instructions carefully. I.T.F is currently recruiting on an invitation-only basis. The best way to be invited is to spend time with us on our servers and hang out on our forums posting regularly. Feel free to download Teamspeak 3 if you don't already have it and join us on TS. For TS information continue reading this document. Applicants must post by creating a new Post. Your application will be either approved or denied after a period of time so can we all get to know you. This recruitment period will typically last 24hours. It is crucial everyone read the following information in this document, it contains information every member of I.T.F will need to know and any applicant will agree to have read in its entirety. ~ Our Mission Statement Our mission at International Task Force is to sustain and promote good gaming, sportsmanship, loyalty and honesty in the lives of gamers all over the world. We plan to achieve this mission, primarily, by allowing members to play games in a competitive yet friendly environment. Through these interactions, we hope to give our members a sense of belonging, while also promoting teamwork. We believe that in doing so, we are helping these members to achieve their highest potential in game and in real life. Our officers and leaders are committed volunteers that provide support to our members anytime it is needed. Our success will be measured not by the number of members the clan has, but by creating a tight community of gamers. We are a non-profit organization, and our officers and leaders are all unpaid volunteers here to help our members whenever we can. ~ International Task Force Rules Maturity We do NOT want disrespectful people in the clan. Anyone who makes racist remarks, flames other players, starts fights, etc. will be kicked without exception. Please be MATURE!!! If you have any issues that you cannot resolve on your own, contact one the WO personal (Recommended age 15) Activity We are always looking for committed members who are active. If you are inactive for 1 month without explanation you may be removed from International Task Force. TeamSpeak 3 Team Speak is a requirement for all members and a Mic. All members need to be on Team Speak while in International Task Force servers. If you are found playing on our server with out being on TS, you will be kick from the server until you hope on TS. Multiple Clans Multi-claning is not allowed. If you are dedicated to International Task Force, then you will not be interested in joining any other clan in the games we play. If you want to join another clan you are free to do. But at the same time we expect that you at least let us know that you are leaving and we have no problem in that since you always have a right to choose which clan is best for you. Respect • Respect is to be shown to every single member. There are no offensive comments made to anyone. • Respect is always given to leader and officers of International Task Force. Any disrespect can lead to some sort of warning or punishment. • If you respect someone, that someone will respect you in return. Donations/Server payments Donations will be accepted by anyone who wishes to contribute to the clan's servers. Donations are greatly appreciated, however this does not imply that the donor will advance in the clan nor necessarily get accepted into the clan. Contributions should only be made for the well-being of the clan and not for personal gain. ~ Standard Code of Conduct I. PURPOSE It is the purpose of this code to provide the standards of conduct expected from all members of the International Task Force Community while wearing International Task Force tags in and out of game. The rules of conduct set forth in this code are not intended to serve as comprehensive regulations for International Task Force, rather, they are intended to (1) alert members to some of the more sensitive and often problematic matters involved in conduct and; (2) specify, where possible, actions and inactions that are contrary to and that conflict with the responsibilities of members and officers of this gaming community, and (3) guide all members and officers in conducting themselves in a respectful manner. II. POLICY Actions of members that are in direct conflict with the rules and values set forth by International Task Force, negatively affect its reputation and that of its members. Members will conduct themselves in a manner which reflects International Task Force positively. Accountability: In the context of this code, accountability means the duty of all members to truthfully acknowleI.T.Fe and explain their actions and decisions when requested without deception. All members of International Task Force will be held accountable for their actions. III. PROCEDURES A. General Conduct 1. Obeying the Rules: a. Members will not violate any rules or regulations set forth by International Task Force b. Members will obey any order from a superior officer, as long as that order does not come in direct conflict with any rules or regulations set forth by International Task Force 2. Conduct Unbecoming:a. All members will conduct themselves in a manner that does not discredit International Task Force or its members. 3. Accountability, Responsibility, and Disciplinary Action:a. All members of International Task Force will be held accountable for their actions. b. All members shall be accurate, complete, and truthful in all matters. 4. Conduct Amongst fellow members of International Task Force: a. All members will treat each other in a respectful manner b. Members will not harass, threaten, or intimidate any other member of International Task Force. All persons found engaging in such actions will be subject to disciplinary action. c. All member should take notice that the repeated solicitation for the acquisition of money or games from other members of International Task Force is strictly forbidden. 5. Conduct towards fellow persons outside of International Task Force: a. All members shall conduct themselves in a respectful and dignified manner when wearing International Task Forcetags and shall not use language that may disrespect or discriminate against other persons.b. Remarks of a sexual nature, said in a manner to intimidate or harass any member of International Task Force, will be construed as sexual harassment. Such actions will merit disciplinary action. ~ Teamspeak 3 Setup Instructions Teamspeak is a requirement for all members to have. You can download it at: Teamspeak.com. After installing it you can add our TS3 server to your bookmarks. In order to do so, go to the 'Bookmarks' tab and click 'Manage Bookmarks'. A new window will open where you will enter our I.T.F TS3 server info. Click 'Add Bookmark' and enter the following information: Label: I.T.F TS3 Address: ruts1.gamespeak.com:9111 Nickname: {ENTERYOURNAME} Password: {Leave this blank} Hit Apply, and OK. Close that window and click the 'Bookmarks' tab, then choose the I.T.F TS3 server. You will now be connected to International Task Force's Teamspeak 3 Server. An admin will need to add you to a member group before you may be able to move channels in TS. ~ |
