BF Vietnam quit running for me last weekend. I can't Uninstall or Install it. Install is grayed out and Uninstall doesn't do anything. Help - does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!!

Back your pc to an earlier point? I mean before the crash happen. I don´t know, but it´s worth a try.

try running from the disk, you can uninstall when you put the disk in as well, good luck

Bar - I tried going back to several earlier Restore Points - still won't run...

Scooby - When I run from disk "Uninstall" is grayed out - very strange

Is the HDD separated into two partitions? If so, install it on d: instead of c: and create a new shortcut ??

Have you tried removing it via admin access? might be worth a try if not. Or maybe the computer over heated killing the hard drive / processor? I know I have to keep a fan on mine or it will crash itself.. Other then that I don't know what to say

I've tried everything but reformatting the HDD, and I'm not doing that! Maybe time for a new computer... have to pay for eye surgeries first

You have checked for spyware/malware and viruses I guess? they can all affect things like that, other than that you can download an uninstaller like REVO, its free I think from download.com, that will uninstall it, check for virus and malware first though.

Similar thing happened to me, cant install or uninstall. I made a copy of the file from program files and amazingly it plays uninstalled from my desktop by clicking the icon. Only problem is it doesnt hold info so I have to type my name in each time I play.
