Frozen mornings in the cabin

Last weekend we stayed at a friend’s old mountain cabin, and wow, those stone walls really trap the cold! We had a tiny heater that barely warmed the living room. Now I’m thinking of getting a proper electric radiator for future trips – can you suggest one that’s reliable but not crazy expensive?

I totally get what you mean about those mountain cabins – I stayed in one last winter and we could literally see our breath in the mornings. We ended up buying an electric radiator for future trips because the little fan heater we had was useless. I didn’t want to spend a fortune either, so I browsed around and found a solid range at electric radiators . We picked a mid-sized model that heats up fast and doesn’t eat too much power. It made a huge difference on our next trip – we could actually sit around in t-shirts instead of shivering under blankets!
