I’m an EHS manager for a mid-sized oil & gas contractor and we’ve had a few incidents recently that made me realize our old detection equipment is falling behind. We do a lot of work in confined spaces and around pipelines where invisible hazards can pop up fast.
Looking for real feedback from people who use this stuff daily. What kind of portable units are you trusting these days? Need something that covers the main gases, is tough enough for field conditions, and doesn’t die halfway through a shift. Budget is reasonable but I refuse to cheap out on safety.
