SerpCorp was originally founded five years ago, in mid-2011. Our goal was to create a better and more prosperous world for every man, woman and child. We set about this goal with only two members in our Group; the original Founders. Our names are John Longstroke, the brains and true creator, and Daniel Cole Boone, the loyal and fierce muscle. For almost a year we fought against small terror groups like MOB, hunted down and killed hate criminals and crazed extremists, and managed to secure a large amount of land and resources over time. Most of that went to building our very own safe haven. Free from warlords and cartels. Over time we started picking up recruits and teaching them our philosophy and methods of combat. For over a year we maintained that bit of land in [REDACTED], making it a

safe place for everybody living there. We almost entirely gave up on fight against the criminals of the world. We realized our time was better spent keeping the only good left alive and safe.
Unfortunately, peace never lasts. In late 2012 a large mercenary group noticed us and took interest in what we had built for ourselves and those we cared for. They go by [REDACTED] and they were only interested in what we had and what we could do for them. I knew from the very beginning that they were trouble. I could hear it in the way they spoke and see it in the way they moved. But poor John was too trusting. He's a good man. A great man even, but he only ever saw good in people. Even if it wasn't really there. So in the hopes of getting more resources to further our own goal we merged with them and gave them access to everything we had. They were cold, ruthless and weren't afraid to hurt people who got in their way. From the day we joined I knew that it wasn't going to last. New bloods getting ranks and power just because the leaders liked them, faked mergers to make the higher-ups look good, treachery after scheme after treachery. Nobody there cared about each other. They were only in it for the cash out at the end of a job, or, for some, the rush of combat. But through all that they never took away what they promised us: more resources to continue our mission. At least, not until about two years into our alliance. It all started when a high ranking soldier code named "Cyber" left. After four months, we had lost almost a quarter of our territory and half of our resources, and it was only getting worse.
That's when I knew I had to act. I got my rifle and I ripped my way through the HQ, killing anybody in my way. Of course, John was horrified. He refused to leave with me. So I set out, alone and jaded to continue our mission. Keeping the peace became too difficult by myself, so I just started killing troublemakers. It was easier to get rid of a problem than to solve it. After a year I got in contact with John and went back to our old mission, a little bit smarter, and a little bit harder. Somebody's got to save Humanity from itself. Why not us?
