This is a very important announcement regarding our community. The format we are currently using for our community just doesn't work. Its as simple as that. I believe we tried to make our community too similar to pre-existing communities and it resulted in what we have now. The entire point of a community is to have fun, and we realized that while we were having fun, we weren't having fun on any of our servers. Our team speak is usually filled with roughly 30 people a day but none of them join for our CS:GO servers. It seems the only time we played our CS:GO servers was to fill them to increase our numbers and make us look better. I think we got so obsessed with being the best that we lost track of what we were supposed to be doing, having fun. Most of us are coming from a community we spent thousands of hours in and, to be honest, are burnt out from playing and filling community servers. When people are being forced to fill servers, and only joining them to boost numbers not to have fun, nothing works. People want to join a server that is fun, and to create a fun environment, everyone has to be enjoying the game they are playing. Players in our community don't solely play CS:GO, so it doesn't make sense for us to have a CS:GO devoted gaming community. People don't join our teamspeak and forums for CS:GO, they join them for the people to play different games with. What does all this mean? We are REFORMATTING our community. We are making it unique, something thats ours and doesn't belong to another community. Consider this a relaunch perhaps. We are not giving up, and we are not shutting down the community. If you think this is giving up, you couldn't be further from the truth. We are simply searching for a way to run this community where everyone is having fun. This means switching a lot of things up. We are taking down all of our CS:GO Servers right now. We are going to throw up a simple surf server for you guys to enjoy while we work on things from there. We are removing divisions. Divisional leadership is not being demoted, they will still be leadership, but tags will be changing. We want more unique positions and roles for our leadership. We simply don't have enough members to build a division right now. We want to be a more casual gaming community for now, not having groups of people belong to specific games, but the community as a whole. We will STILL have dedicated servers for games we enjoy, but maybe CS:GO isn't the only game we should be focusing on right now. As I said earlier, many people are burnt out on filling those servers up and have lost interest. We want to find more games to build servers for that we are all ACTUALLY passionate about. As stated earlier, the first server we will be getting is for CS:GO, and we will look for other games from there. Feel free to respond to this thread with various games you all enjoy. We will look into them and try to find something everyone is passionate about. This may take quite a while. Thank you for your patience. We plan to continue this community and keep working on it indefinitely. We all have so many friends here.
