As many of you might of seen, the official forums is getting ragespammed right now due to the fact that they're gonna block everyone outside of the US, which means me and a few others in the guild will get banned. Playing through proxy is one way though, but I think its rather hard to find proxies with only american IP adresses, and its probably not gonna be reliable/speedy enough to be able to play without frustration.

I stayed loyal to the guild all the way and did my best to help out as much as I could.

Thank you Vixen for being a great leader and for making good decisions which in turn granted us that Treasurer spot in the alliance.

I'm currently very frustrated considering the amount of time I've wasted on this game. If they were to ban IPs outside of the US, they should have made that clear BEFORE Open Beta. Regardless, it's no use dwelling over this, so I guess I'll be playing on the global version.

And thank you Vix for being a great leader. I still want to believe that gPotato won't ban existing players, but I shouldn't hope for too much, eh?

I've got little to say, I think it's one of THE worst marketing ideas ever invented. I'm gonna have to wait and see if it goes through; if not, the game's still gonna go to crap, because everyone's already gone.

I suppose I could play on Global, but it'll still suck without a lot of our good members.

That's the Global Aika site. If worst does come to worst and most of our guildies that we're with constantly do get blocked, I'd like to relocate there to give it a shot. Even if it's a global type, and the translations likely won't be as clean as gPot's, it's still a game.

(side note: Looking at the screenshots, the translations actually DON'T suck, but the web page does have shoddy translations. It's weird.)

Thing is, even with proxies, too few are gonna use it and even NA players are moving to global aika, so the population will still be very small and aika is a game that NEEDS a BIG population in order to survive, it's just how the game is built thanks to 5 different nations.

Oh well I guess for people who likes pve more it'll work out since dungeon runs and such isnt really affected that much (xcept its gonna be harder to find parties perhaps). Gawd and I just made +7 superior rifle with super stats for my RM alt too, so sad that all of this happened. =/

Well guys, this is sad. I was going to try and find a good way for us to proxy in, however I understand that it would probably cause some terrible latency issues and thus not be worth the effort. As for myself, I have not decided what I will do. I guess I have three options. The first being stay with gPotato Aika ~ I'll probably stick around a few days and see how it goes. Second option would be move to global Aika ~ although it seems like a perfect fix, I'm not sure if I want to. Third option would be move to another game with some of you. All I can say at this point is that I enjoy the time with you guys and gals and I hope we can find a new home together

Updated. Existing users aren't IP-banned. So in case any of you still want to play, it's possible. I don't know about myself though. =p
