Hey guys. EPCgaming has been offline for a week now, and I uninstalled Windows 7, reinstalling Vista.

I don't remember the proper set up to get COD5 working on the servers (the cracked version obviously). They had a guide on epcgaming, but it isn't online so i can't get to it.

Does anyone have the directions saved?

Ok first You need to get both 1.1 and 1.2 patches...
then you need to Download this file CodWaw_LANFixed.exe From.

Now go into c:/program files/activision/world at war and rename the "codwaw.exe" to "codwawbackup.exe".
Now if the file you just downloaded need to be umzipped do it then put it in c:/program files/activision/world at war folder. use this to get into game.
Should be fine after this..

So i have to install both patches, doesn't 1.2 include 1.1?

Well I'm pretty sure but you can try just installing 1.2, by the way the lan fix is for single player you want the Multiplayer patch...

Where do you get that at?

Just google 1.2 cod 5 patch
and 1.2 client patch
