Urban Terror League____________Official League Rules
Stronger Then All ______________STA: Urban Terror Rules Size of Team Player numbers are determined by the team captains before hand. This will vary with every match, depending on availability. Usually, it is 5 vs 5, 6 vs 6, or 7 vs 7. Spawn times are very long, 12+ seconds. Ranking STA league 'ranks' teams. We'll be ranked as New. We will play against other inexperienced teams. If we dominate all season, which I'm certain we will - we'll get thrown to the real teams for the following season. Server Hosting Every game has a "Home" team and a "Visiting" team. The STA (the league) official rules state that all servers used for league play must be located in the US, North Mexico, or South Canada. I have asked a Senior Administrator at STA if one of our players living in the US can host the match from their home. I doubt it. But, we'll see. It looks like we may have to LEASE a server. Prices vary based on max player numbers. - $8.00 per month will get us 12 slots (max players). Enough for official matches. - $20.00 per month gets us 26 slots (max players). Enough to use the server regularly for public playing. (we can use waco's new maps, what ever maps we want, we own it) Basically, one full 3 month season, including playoffs - would cost: 6 clan members: $4.00 each for the minimum slots, or $10 each to Rock Out! 10 clan members: $2.40 each for the minimum slots, or $6.00 each to Rock Out! - - This isn't for sure yet. - - I'm still waiting an answer on using a private server (at somebody's house). This would cost $0.00 each for a full 3 month season. Cheating STA has created a special administrative group whose sole purpose is the detection of cheats, cheaters, and aliasers. Named the Anti-Cheat Task Force (ACTF), this group has the sole power within all STA leagues to ban for cheating. The ACTF will use such tools and techniques as may be adopted for any specific game engine (Half-Life, Quake, etc) or league requirements. Therefore, anyone playing within an official STA sanctioned competition (i.e. match, pre-match, exhibition, etc.) explicitly grants STA the right to access, forward, store and process any and all game server information that may be available from our use of tools, configurations, add-ons and game server plug-ins that may be in use or mandated for competitive league play.

Another thing to note, Regarding league play and cheating:
At no time can a player ever accuse any one of cheating. Either during game play, or at the STA forum. This is punishable. If you suspect a cheater, you are to immediately tell your team captain. This is all. A team is allowed 3 challenges per season. If the player is guilty of cheating, the challenge doesn't count against the team total. Note: We are all required to record every league match in it's entirety. This is done by modifying your cfg file to read: seta cl_autoRecordDemo "1" //set value to 1 to auto record matches. These demos must be kept for a minimum of 3 weeks, and be submitted to your team captain immediately upon request. After a match that someone suspects a cheater, The captain will take the demos from every player on their team and review them thoroughly. If proof is noticed of a cheater, then the captain will go before the Anti-Cheat Task Force (ACTF) and file a grievance against the suspected player + their team. The captain of the accused then has 3 weeks to respond. The (ACTF) will take in Demos from both the accusers, and the accused. Their punishment is severe and quick. Note: It is very easy to spot a cheater when reviewing their video. While reviewing any match video, WallHack on or off on the Reviewers system. You can then easily see the person aiming / following a player through a wall and pouncing at the exact moment. As I said earlier, the punishment for cheating is sever. Immediate banning from the league and a forfeit of the teams match.
