My HDs have bought the farm.I was using 2 Rapter WD drives in striped config. They had a 5 yr. warranty and luckily they were only 4 1/2 years old. They are sending replacements to me,unfortunately I'm down for a little while till I get back up and running.

I goofed and didn't have all my stuff backed up somewhere else.So I'll be starting from scratch...No bookmarks, favorites to draw from.

PEOPLE BACK YOUR STUFF UP.

Hopefully see you soon.

This happened to me too (with 2 of the first Raptors each a miniscule 36GB).

If ur goin to run RAID-O maybe it's good to have a 3rd slower, bigger drive to hold ur settings and non-disk intensive programs so u only need to re-install Windows/Steam and a few games?

Me, I only run one 300 GB Velociraptor now, put me off RAID-0 for a while...

Lucky they were WD, gr8 warranty! Noticed other HD makers are reducing their guarantees to 1 year only now

This is why I have my own FTP server, and I currently set mine up for commercial use. LOL. So if you need Unlimited Storage and Unlimited Bandwidth, hit my site up at http://elink2biz.com. You can't beat it for $30 a year
