KARKAND I/O SERVER

In order to provide a fair game to every player, the following server rules must be followed by ALL players and will be enforced by the server administrators. Rules scroll in game and it is the player’s responsibility to read them.

THIS WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE BAN:

Hacking: Using any third party program to improve gameplay. This includes but is not limited to: using an aimbot to improve accuracy and kill with a minimum amount of shots, using a wall hack that allows players to see the enemy through buildings and other objects that may obstruct view, using a no-fog hack that eliminates all fog and allows enemies to be seen at great distances.

Glitching: Entering places that would normally not be possible to enter such as walls, trees, rocks, etc. where a player can shoot the enemy without being seen.

Stat Padding: Playing alongside other accomplices on the opposite or the same team in order to improve one’s stats. For example, another player allowing you to kill him so a third person can revive and get points. Or shooting someone on your team then giving him first aid to gather healing points.

Disrespect Towards Members: Any type of disrespectful comments towards BAD members such as vulgarity will not be tolerated. This includes making fun of a BAD member for any reason or ridiculing them or the server.

Recruiting: Telling other players to join your clan or any other clan. This also includes insinuating that another clan’s server provides better gameplay and the experience there overall is much better.

SIMPLE OFFENSES:

***WARNINGS SCROLL IN ALL CAPS AT THE TOP OF SCREEN. IT IS THE PLAYER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY ATTENTION TO WARNINGS.***

It is to the administrator’s discretion whether the following will result in a warning or kick.

Bunny Hopping: Jumping more than one time to avoid being shot. This includes throwing grenades while being fired upon to avoid enemy fire whether it is at a distance or at close range. Only one hop is allowed. PERIOD.

Drag Hopping: Jumping and moving to one side while in the air to avoid enemy fire. For example, jumping and pressing the left movement key to where it appears you jump 10 feet towards the left.

Jump Shooting: Jumping and shooting at the same time or while one is in the air. Jumping off of a wall or stairs and shooting while on your way down is allowed.

Dolphin Diving: Jumping and going prone while in the air to where your player lands lying down.

Crouch Spamming: Repeatedly crouching while firing in order to obtain better accuracy or to avoid fire. Crouching behind a wall every 4 to 5 seconds to get some shots off and kill your enemy is not considered crouch spamming.

Prone Spamming: Repeatedly going to the prone position and getting back up in order to avoid enemy fire, especially when one is running away or is running in circles. However, there is an exception if you and the enemy are involved in a knife fight only.

Grenade Spamming: Throwing down ammo packs in one spot in order to keep picking up and throwing grenades in large quantities. Throwing all of your 4 grenades included in your kit all at once is NOT considered an offense. Continually picking up more in one spot to throw is.

Radio Spamming: Excessively sending radio transmissions in order to purposely become a nuisance and irritate other players and disrupt gameplay.

Excessive Typing:
Typing about gameplay and talking to other players is definitely allowed. However, when it becomes constant and distracts other players it constitutes as being excessive and disruptive. This includes arguing with other players or chatting about things not relevant to the gameplay.

Switching Teams: Switching teams, especially at the beginning of the game, is not allowed. Only AUTOBALANCE and administrators are allowed to switch a player to keep the teams even. Admin reserve the right to switch teams and monitor trouble players.

Locked Squads: Not Allowed. Admin may lock squads temporarily to talk to other admin or to pass on teamspeak information to a player joining the clan. Kicking players, including BAD members, from your squad is also not allowed in an effort to reduce or avoid recruitment into other clans.

Not Moving on Flags (Camping): In order to promote teamwork, every player is expected to continually move towards a flag. Once a flag is captured, a player should move towards a different flag. All players traveling in squads or groups should move onto the flag and not linger around the spawn points. Once the USMC has captured one flag other than the Hotel, MEC players should abandon Hotel and not linger as to catch USMC players coming out of the uncap. There is no reason why any MEC players should hang out around the Hotel area if they do not hold all flags. A player should also not remain in one spot for an elongated amount of time (approx. 20 seconds) in order to kill enemy passing by. Killing one person while in one spot, then having that person respawn and killing them again while in the same spot is considered CAMPING and is not allowed. This also includes not moving off of walls such as that at Gatehouse facing the bridge, or not moving out of towers.

The USMC is expected to move out of the uncap area and not stay there to kill MEC players from that spot.
