The song dont need to be catchy. Many countrys have won with out that. In swedish it before was cald shlagerfestivalen(translate please frost) and it isent about catchy, Its about the song and actully think loreen can win

Well about that catchy thing: Azerbaijan won without a catchy song and it is probably the worst winner ever (not that I expect much) but the winner should be catchy, and entertaining, have its own style etc etc. Many fail with "own style" and that results in disasters, mostly.

Moldova competed with that Epic Sax Guy and it is annoyingly catchy, as well as ridiculous. Azerbaijan could win due to extended block voting.

How could you think that was a bad winner? It was really good. Loved that song. And you see they dident won with the catchy sax guy even if its really populer now. So we can win with out it

We don't get a lot of ESC coverage here in Canada, but people do know about it since we have a high European/Asian population (I include Asian because Asians here love music and dance ). When Alex Rybak was competing everyone called him the Epic Violin guy, and of course everyone loves the epic sax guy. I keep track whenever I can on youtube or the ESC site. In terms of Sweden, I liked Euphoria, but it doesn't seem that original to me.

Not very good quality. Atleast we don't have to be ashamed for the song as we've been the recent years
