OK guys. This may be a little selfish but I have lost almost all interest in the minecraft server as it is. Its just not much fun and there is not much at all to do. I asked around and some others feel similar.
So I decided to ask and see how many of you are in favor of a server world reset(the current map would be erased and/or saved while we could enjoy a fresh new world), and offline mode(cracked client users would be allowed on the server). There are some plugins we could use to stop server identity theft that create a password for your username or IP and that only you or maybe an admin would know. The server reset would have to be after the 1.4 update coming in October because changes might be made to landscape settings between now and then. This is a great chance to refresh the minecraft experience and maybe have more fun than on the old world. Another idea from nacho was put as follows: "I'm ok with restarting it. This time though I don't think we should have any neutral players or spots, it would be more fun if we had everyone fighting. People could and each team build their own town or something. Or if no one wants to fight we could have it all be peaceful, I just think it'd be better to have us all doing the same thing."(Nacho) #!# Please respond and let me know how you guys feel about this or if you have any other ideas let me know.
