Assuming BF3 multi-player is like BF2
Battlefield defines how multi-player shooters should work. The team oriented gameplay is an incredible experience. The squad based spawning system has influenced the genre. The variation of experience the games provide countless hours of game time and offer unlimited possibilities of skirmishes. Battlefield works like Company of Heroes. There is a base for each team and control points on the map. You work as a squad to achieve objectives like; - destroying the enemy's radar or artillery capability - taking out a vehicle or enemy emplacement - defending or taking control points - provide eachother with supplies/medical attention/vehicle maintenance you work as a team to most effectively achieve victory, and work with your commander who can - call/reveal enemy units/vehicles/aircraft - provide unmanned aerial drones for area of effect enemy detection - call artillery strikes to defend weak points/support squads/destroy bridges - drop supplies/medical and jeeps/cars for squads anywhere on the map You can proceed on foot to brawl it out for control points, or halo drop over an enemy base from a jet. You can hover a helicopter high above enemy detection as your squad members parachute down to a pivotal control point or objective. You can assemble a convoy of various light and heavily armored vehicles, engineers riding behind to provide repairs as needed. You can jump into a chopper and dodge anti-air fire as your co-pilot drops TV guided missiles and .50 CAL fire onto the heads of your enemies. You can run around as an engineer fixing bridges/vehicles/stationary weaponry and commander abilities such as artillery and radar and drop anti-tank mines along vulnerable roads and passes. You can choose a sniper, going lone wolf or providing stealthy covering fire for your squad. You can be the squad medic, running to the aid of your fallen squad leader(under fire) and drag him to safety, ensuring your squad can respawn on him and continue their mission. You can jump from stationary anti-air guns to shoot down an enemy attack helicopter and then jump out into a waiting jeep to run over an enemy trying to sneak up on you. You can drop C4 charges and detonate them just as the enemy takes off in what they think is a safe jet or helicopter. Not much has been revealed about BF3's multiplayer though. Hopefully it's just BF2 with better overall balance -- nicer graphics and physics upgrades are just to bait the noobs. I'd still play BF2 but you need atleast a small squad to play with to get the full experience. ![]()

Niver grapgics alright, have you seen the trailer? It would be mistaken for irl footage but the computer have way higher fps than human eyes. I'm looking forward for this. Les arcade than CoD and somewhat more serious gaming within and against the teams.
