Well Super, you know the guy who's been going around and annoying people, has gotten myself and a few others before me into Anime. For those of you who don't know Anime is like a cartoon but awesome-er and for teenagers and adults. I started off by watch "Code Geass" and was blown away by it and instantly became a fan of anime. Anyways, I have looked into maybe having like an "Anime Night" where we can get together and stream anime on Google+ Hangouts (idea from IMPOS). I just now looked at G+ Hangouts and it looks simple enough for me to stream an Anime or teach someone else how to. Just wondering what you all were thinking about this and any suggestions are always helpful

I've never cared for full metal alchemist. if they were actors I'd say they're over-acting, but they're cartoons..so it's just absurd. first rule of film making: every scene can't be the most epic scene ever. Actually, that's a good rule to keep in mind for all forms of art. If people did, there wouldn't be a pop genre of music ^_^

some anime's that you guys would enjoy and still maintain your anime-scene cred.,..here's a nice variety:


"samurai champloo"...Sword fighting in feudal Japan, with a nice kick of personality

"FLCL"...'wtf did i just watch' style anime, beautiful visuals and art. Crazy, quirky characters and giant boss battles.

"the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya"...an epitome of the genre. School age children finding themselves in super-natural events.

"Death Note"...a very intriguing "what if". an average guy gets the power of god, the story revolves around how he handles it, and how the world reacts.

Code Geass and Angel Beats FTW

FMA was fun, but I think there are some way better anime's out there. The one's (Anime and manga) I'm currently following are:
