According to this CS.GO will only be $15, and released next month. I'm thinking it may only be available on steam, due to the low cost and the fact that it's valve which has all of their games on steam. Anyway that's just me speculating.


I plan to buy at least one copy on release I think anyone the least bit interested in playing a competitive FPS should, this is going to be the only one worth playing basically until the old COD founders make a game again

Cool "New" feature on CS GO which could make the game whole lot better to play is the competitive mode is now set up where full teams are set to face each other for a whole match, making it more like an actual scrimmage instead of a pub match where a lot of players will leave join and swap sides. Kind of like solo que in League, though I assume it would work if you set up a match with a full team of 5. We totally need to try it sometime once everyone gets well acquainted with the game.
